DJs at Hideout Festival
Hideout Festival is one of the biggest electronic music festivals of summer. The 2018 edition of the festival will take place on the famous Zrce beach in Croatia from 25th June to 29th June. The festival has become renowned as one of the best beach festivals in Europe, with some of the biggest names in electronic music taking to the stage. These are some of the DJs that will be appearing at next year’s Hideout festival.
Hannah Wants
Hannah Wants is a British DJ who dabbles in electronic music. Her most popular song is 2015’s “Rhymes” with Chris Lorenzo which reached 13 on the UK chart. She has also received accolades from magazines, MixMag and DJmag who declared her the breakthrough DJ of 2012.
Jamie Jones
Jamie Jones is an English DJ and record producer whose specialty is in producing House and Tech House. He is mostly known for his 2012 hit ‘Benediction’ which he produced with his group ‘Hot Natured’. He has mostly worked with DJs including Matthew Styles and Seth Troxler.
Chase & Status
The biggest name on the festival lineup without doubt, Chase & Status should need no introduction. With massive hits such as Time (feat. Delilah), End Credits and Count on Me (feat. Moko), Chase & Status put on an incredible show that simply cannot be missed.
AJ Tracey
AJ is a grime MC from Ladbroke Grove, West London. Hailed by the Guardian as one of the best new acts to watch at the festivals in 2016, this MC is really making a name for himself on the grime scene not just in the UK but in Europe too, making him a must-see at Hideout. Catch him before he really blows up.
Andy C
Known as one of the pioneers of the Drum & Bass scene in the UK, Andrew Clarke has been making a mark in the genre since the age of 15 and there has been no stopping him ever since. In 1992 he created his own label, the renowned RAM Records, with just a £1000 investment. The label is still going h3 today and is considered one of the biggest and most innovative labels in the drum and base scene.
Apollonia
This French trio consist of Dyed Soundorom, Dan Ghenacia y Shonky and have made a name for themselves in the biggest clubs in Europe, such as Berlin’s Panorama, London’s Fabric with their remixes and original music.
Alan Fitzpatrick
Hailing from Southampton, Fitzpatrick has made quite the name for himself on the techno scene with appearances all over the UK, Germany, Austria and Ireland. There is quite the buzz around him on social media and Hideout is a great place to see hits like We Do What We Want live.
Bicep DJ Set
Bicep have been making their mark on the scene since 2012, with various big sets at the famous Boiler Room. This duo from Ireland will certainly get crowds moving at Hideout.
Bugzy Malone
With hot tracks such as Memory Lane and Bruce Wayne, this English grime rapper, who goes by the name of Aaron Davis, has been described as one of the key acts in the recent grime revival, responsible for helping the move music away from commercial music and towards its origins.
David Rodigan
At 66 years old, German DJ Rodgan is one of the veteran acts at this year’s Hideout. This famous disc jockey has an MBE to his name and is known for his selection of music on some of the biggest radio stations in the UK, such as BBC Radio 1Extra, Capital, Kiss and BBC Radio 2.
Disciples
These guys are an incredible musical trio hailing from South London that make house music. They won the MTV Video Music Award for Best Electronic Music Dance Video, so get your dancing shoes ready for this one.
Their best songs include On My Mind and They Don’t Know, two absolute bangers that have gained them recognition worldwide. They are most famous for the hit song How Deep is Your Love, which they made with giant Calvin Harris.
Dusky
An electronic duo from London, these guys make music to dance to. Their unique mix of UK house and techno with a touch of drum & bass and garaje has made them stand out from the crowd, winning them fans all over the world.
Jackmaster
Born in Glasgow, Jack Revill has become of one of the most established and most sought-after DJs in the world, winning a plethora of DJ-related awards. He came second in the Resident Advisor Top 100 DJ Poll in 2016, and with festivals lined up all over Europe, 2018 looks to be an even bigger year for this bright young star.
Kerri Chandler
All the way from New Jersey, United Stated, Chandler is a producer and DJ of deep house that has been making music since the 1990s. A true pioneer in the genre, Kerri is one not to miss. Get ready to see the classic hit Get it Off live.
Patrick Topping
This house producer and DJ has had a number of hits on several tech and house charts, and with the summer hit Forget he was awarded Track Of The Season in Ibiza. As well as his own original tracks, Topping has also made some hot remixes of other artists’ music, such as the excellent Raumakustik – Dem A Pree.
Richy Ahmed
Nominated for Mejor Breakthrough at the DJ Awards, South Shields artists Ahmed has been a big name on the scene and one of the many that is redefining house music by mixing many genres such as disco, techno, funk and hip hop with his unmissable DJ sets.
Solardo
This group is made up of MRK1 and James Elliot, one of the hot tips on the techno scene that have made a mark, landing shows all over the world, including in Barcelona and Barbados, as well as the US. Hideout is their next stop.
Steve Lawler
An incredible DJ with tons of talent, Lawler hails from Birmingham, UK, though he should really need no introduction. This guy is one of the most respected artists in his genre, don’t miss his set and you will find out why.
Lineup 2017
The DJ lineup for the next Hideout Festival set for this coming summer in Zrce beach, Croatia is out. First on the lineup will be Major Lazor; an American electronic music group composed of three members who include, Diplo, Jillionaire and Walshy Fire.
They have had an immensely successful last year having produced a number of chart topping hits and collaborations including ‘lean on’ featuring DJ Snake and MO and ‘cold water’ featuring Justin Bieber. They dabble in a number of genres including Dancehall, Trap and Electro House.
The event will also feature Marco Carola. An Italian DJ who experiments with Techno and Minimal Techno. He is mostly notable for his mix called ‘Fabric 31’ which displayed a revolutionary way of making house music that hadn’t been heard before. He has collaborated on projects with notable producers such as Gaetano Parisio and Cisco Ferreira.
English Grime and Hiphop artist, Stormzy will also be in attendance. The 23-year-old is mostly known for his viral hit-song “shut up”. He went on to win the best grime act at the MOBO awards for two years in a row in 2014 and 2015. His collaborations have been with artists like Shalo and Chip with the latter featuring him in his upcoming project.
Diplo is a member of the American music trio, Major Lazer. He is arguably the most successful of the group with chart-topping collaborations like 2016’s “Where are you now?” featuring Justin Bieber and 2011’s “Look at me now” featuring Chris Brown. His talents extend from hip-hop, electro house all the way to reggae. He owes his success to his unique sound and diversity.
MK also known as Marc Kinchen is an American DJ and producer who is a legend in house music having produced the 1993 and 1994 classic hits ‘Always’ and ‘Love Changes’ with Alana. He has worked with numerous Artists including Clare Rivers and Storm Queen.
The Martinez Brothers are an American tech house DJ duo that work closely with Jamie Jones. They are currently a wildly popular act in Ibiza. They were declared DJs of the year in 2014 by MixMag Magazine due to their breakthrough success.
Hot Since 82 is an English DJ and producer of house and tech house. He’s a very popular DJ having collaborated with Route 94 and Andy George. This popularity has secured him hosting spots in Ibiza and many other places. His latest mix is called Veins.
